Ad Hoc Committee
A committee formed to accomplish a specific task. Ad hoc committees are typically disbanded after completing their work.
A body of elected members charged with governance of an association.
A group of people appointed for a specific function, typically consisting of members of a larger group.
Types of Committees:
- Standing (permanent)
- Ad Hoc (temporary)
- Special Interest
The Committee object contains information about each committee. It is the parent in a master-detail relationship with the Committee Membership object. You can set a committees type using the
Type field on the Committee object.
An individual who has served or is serving in a committee position.
The Committee Membership object contains membership term information, is the child in a master-detail relationship with the Account object, is the child in a master-detail relationship with the Committee object, and looks up to the Committee Position object.
Committee Membership Term
The timeframe, in months, in which a committee member serves on a Committee.
The date range in which the
State on the Committee Membership object is set to active. The membership term is set using
Start Date and
End Date on the Committee Membership object.

The Committee Position object contains the name of a committee position and the order in which it should be sorted on a committee roster.
A permanent committee charged with addressing all issues pertaining to a specific subject.
A committee composed of some members of a larger committee, board, or other body.
A body established to work on a single defined task or activity.
The timeframe, in months, in which a committee is actively fulfilling it's function.
