Export a Batch


Staff can export one or more batches and import them into your general ledger (GL). 

  • A batch with a Batch Status of Posted or Exported cannot be changed back to Pending or Posted
  • To customize GL Export, configure the GL Exports feature in your org.
  1. Export a batch(es).
    1. In the tab bar, click 
      App Launcher, or in Salesforce Classic, click 
      Nimble AMS, Staff View, Button, All Tabs.
    2. Click Batches.
    3. Select a list view—like All Posted Batches.
    4. Select one or more batches.
    5. Click Export.

      If you do not see this button, click 

      Show More Actions For This Record in the dropdown menu.

      In Salesforce Classic, clicking Export opens a dialog box.

    6. Click Export.
    7. Click OK.
  2. Download the GL Export:
    1. From any of the exported batches, in the Files related list, click the name of the export file.

      Depending on how your org is set up, you may see the Files, Notes & Attachments, or both related lists. Grab a ☕ with your administrator and find out how Files are configured in your org (external).

    2. Click 

      Download.

      Or, in Salesforce Classic:

      1. In the tab bar, click 
        Nimble AMS, Staff View, Button, All Tabs.
      2. Click Documents.
      3. In Folder, select GL Export.
      4. Click Go!.
      5. Select a GL export.
      6. Click View File.
      7. In the new browser tab, you can view the batch content.
