Personal Snapshot Page

The Personal Snapshot page contains several cards to provide users with a quick look at their profile information. Some cards are merely informational, and others give users different ways to interact with your association.

Payment Notifications

Failure

If constituents have a failed payment within the last 7 days, a message displays letting them know about the payment and includes a link they can click to be taken to view the payment on the My Scheduled Payments Page. If there are multiple failed payments in the last 7 days, it displays the earliest failed payment.

Upcoming

If constituents have a scheduled payment within the next 7 days, a message displays letting them know about the payment and includes a link they can click to be taken to view the payment on the My Scheduled Payments Page.

Profile Photo

At the top of the page, constituents can view, add, or update their profile photo.

Profile photos must be in .jpg, .gif, or .png format. Profile photos must be 2 MB or less in size and we recommend a width of 200 pixels and height from 200–300 pixels.

Personal Information

The Personal card displays a snapshot of constituent's personal information.

Company Information

Individuals

If individual constituents have no active affiliation with a company, the Company card displays an Add Affiliation button which constituents can click to browse to the Add Affiliation page and affiliate themselves to a company.

Once they're affiliated to one or more companies, constituents can view their primary affiliation, followed by any other affiliations, or click My Affiliations to browse to the My Affiliations page to view and update their affiliations. Administrators can customize the company information that is shown for each affiliation to provide the level of detail desired by your association.

Company Managers

The Company card also displays a Company Profile button next to any affiliation so company mangers can browse to the Company Snapshot page and manage that company.

Membership Information

You can configure the Personal Snapshot page to work with individual memberships, company memberships, or both; depending on your needs. Different payment scenarios are also supported, like renewal any time, or via a cash or accrual billing.

Individual Membership

The Membership card displays membership information to all constituents. The card displays different information to constituents depending on their membership status. If the user has a membership cart with a payment scheduled for a future date, a message will be displayed letting them know. This helps prevent users from creating an membership order/cart when one is already scheduled. Learn how to Configure Individual and Company Membership Information on the Personal Snapshot Page.

Individuals not allowed to Join or Renew Company Memberships

An Individual or Company Manager can get membership benefit from their affiliated company but the Snapshot Individual Membership Card will only display the membership information. The individual cannot Join or Renew Company Membership from this card. 

Join

If a constituent is not a member, the Membership card displays a message letting them know they are not yet a member. If staff have created an active membership option that allows individuals to join as members, the Join Now button displays on the card to take constituents to the Join or Renew Page.

Once constituents have joined as members, their membership information displays on the Membership card.

If your association flows down company membership benefits from the company to the affiliated individuals, all these same scenarios are supported, but for the individual membership offered through the company.

Renewal

Any Time

If the feature is enabled, the Renew button always displays on the Membership card which takes constituents to renew their membership on the Join or Renew Page at any time. Learn how to Enable Membership Renewal at Any Time in Community Hub. constituents can select the Change to Not Renew from the Auto-Renewing drop-down for one time membership or select the Configure Auto-Renew Frequency to renew the membership at predefined frequency. They can then select the payment Method to pay for the auto-renewable membership.

Restrict Auto Renewal Cancellation on Community Hub

To restrict constituents from canceling auto renewals of a membership, select Restrict Auto-Renewal Cancellation on the corresponding Membership Type. If this field is checked, Cancel Auto Renewal button will not be displayed on this page.



You can effectively choose which page the Community Hub users be redirected to, when they click Join/Renew and Pay Now. Let's take an example of the Join button. Follow the steps given below to redirect Join/Renew and Pay Now buttons to any page other than default in Community Hub:

  1. From Setup, enter Custom Metadata Types in the Quick Find box, then select Custom Metadata Types.
  2. Click Manage Records next to Additional Settings for Community Hub.
  3. Click Edit next to Join and Renew Button Join Redirect.
  4. Populate value field with the URL of page to be redirected to. For example: /apex/myprofile.
  5. Click Save.
  6. From the Community Hub, navigate to the Personal Snapshot page.
  7. Click Join. 

Expected Result

You should be redirected to My Profile page.

Cash Billing

If constituents have a cash bill with a membership renewal, the Renew button displays which takes them to the Join or Renew Page to review the renewal and add it to their cart. 

Accrual Billing

If constituents have an outstanding invoice with a membership renewal, the Pay Balance button displays which takes them to review the invoice on the Invoice Page.

If your association flows down company membership benefits from the company to the affiliated individuals, all these same scenarios are supported, but for the individual membership offered through the company.

Company Membership

The Company Membership card displays for company managers. Learn more how to Set a Company Manager and how to Configure Individual and Company Membership Information on the Personal Snapshot Page.

Join

If the company doesn't have a membership, the Company Membership card displays a message letting the company manager know the company is not a member. If staff has created an active membership option that allows companies to join as members, the Join Now button displays on the card to take the company manager to the Join or Renew Page.

Once the company is a member, the membership information displays on the Company Membership card.

Renewal

Any Time

If the feature is enabled, the Renew button always displays on the Company Membership card which takes company managers to renew the company membership on the Join or Renew Page at any time.
