Associations have various publications they create and manage, like Blogs, Books, Journals etc. Nimble AMS now provides functionality to manage certain aspects of those publications. Staff members can set the type of publication, it's frequency, the product offerings for the publication, and it's issues. These issues can be linked to the Engagement functionality also being release in Winter '19 so you can track publication issues from content creation, to content publication, to content sale.
The Publication and Issue objects have been added so you can track and manage books, journals, magazines, or other media issued issued to the general public. Learn more about Publications and Issues.
Publicationhas been added to the Product object so you can relate various subscription product offerings you provide constituents back to a single publication record.
Issueis included in the new Engagement object so you can track the issues a constituent has contributed to.
- The Nimble AMS Publication View All and Nimble AMS Publication Create and Modify All permission sets have been added so you can control who can view and manage subscriptions and issues.
New reports have been added in the Subscriptions (Nimble AMS) folder:
Name Description All Issues All issues created to date. All Publications All publications created to date. All Publications by Record Type All publications created to date grouped by record type. All Subscription Products by Publication All subscription products created to date related to a publication and grouped by that publication.
