GL Exports

In Nimble AMS, all the details of financial transactions are recorded and organized in batches. Associations typically have their own General Ledger (GL) system(s) where they track the organization's financial data, like transactions, as the comprehensive source of truth for all financial information. Nimble AMS GL Export functionality allows Associations to keep their financial data in sync between Nimble AMS and the GL system by exporting financial transactions in groups from Nimble AMS which can then be imported into the GL system.

Nimble AMS staff users can export transaction data via batches and import it into the GL system. With the GL Exports feature, Nimble AMS customers can use a single solution to export GL files from Nimble AMS in any of the three file formats (.csv, .txt, and .iif). With more flexibility, you can easily set up exports for these formats with point-and-click configuration. This feature also provides you with pre-configured options to export GL files for the below standard GL systems:

  • Sage Intacct
  • QuickBooks Online
  • QuickBooks Desktop
  • Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains

This makes it even easier for associations to keep financial information in sync. Furthermore, it reduces the setup time required and gives greater flexibility, should an association ever change its GL system.

Benefits

  • Easy Configuration: Pre-configured options and an enhanced single solution reduce the setup time required and make it easier for transactions to be exported.
  • Ability for Point-and-Click Configuration: Point-and-click configuration in GL Exports enables you to customize the columns to display on the GL file and the data for those columns.

  • Future-Use Flexibility: The availability of all three commonly used file formats (.csv, .txt., and .iif) in a single package enables you to change your GL system without compatibility issues with Nimble AMS.
