The Nimble AMS Winter '19 release is approaching and we want to ensure you know when it will roll out to your orgs. You'll have early access to Winter '19 in your staging sandbox to test your customizations with new features before your production org is upgraded.
We roll out a preview release of Winter '19 to your staging sandbox 4 weeks before the Nimble AMS production release. You may continue using your orgs during the rollouts, as service interruption is expected to be minimal. Preview and production releases are staggered into multiple groups determined by the Salesforce instance of your production org:
Salesforce Instances: NA7, NA31, NA39, NA50, NA72, NA74, and NA78
Preview Release: Staging sandbox updates begin on September 18th at 5:45 AM EST.
Production Release: Production org updates begin on October 17th at 5:45 AM EST.
Salesforce Instances: NA3, NA24, NA30, NA32, NA34, NA35, NA37, NA40, NA42, NA43, NA46, NA49, NA51, NA53, NA54, NA57, NA59, and NA73
Preview Release: Staging sandbox updates begin on September 20th at 5:45 AM EST.
Production Release: Production org updates begin on October 24th at 5:45 AM EST.
Take a look at Company Information page in Setup (external) to learn what Salesforce instance your production org is on.
When we roll out a new object, you'll see notification of an update to the object's sharing settings.
If your staging sandbox has not been refreshed from production this year, we recommend you contact Nimble AMS Support to ensure there's no active work in your staging sandbox and confirm it's possible to refresh your staging sandbox before September 4th.
Not only will this bring your staging sandbox up to date with your production org, it also gives you the advantage of participating in the Salesforce Winter '19 preview, which starts September 7th.
In this way, you can preview the Salesforce Winter '19 and the Nimble AMS Winter '19 releases together in your staging sandbox.
Only staging sandboxes are upgraded as part of the seasonal rollout. Please refresh developer sandboxes after the production upgrade to sync to the latest version, or contact Nimble AMS Support.
