Community Hub Settings

To navigate to this page, go to Community Hub Setup and select Community Hub Settings. It is a new page which provides a dashboard of various custom settings which can be performed by the Administrator. 

A page is created in Community Hub Setup with different Custom Setting protected components. 

Prerequisite

  • You must be using Nimble AMS Lightning experience. Learn more.

Account Settings

Administrators can manage the account settings in this section. They can set the complexity requirement and minimum password length of the accounts.

  1. From Community Hub Setup, click More | Community Hub Settings.
  2. Click New next to the "Account Settings".
  3. Enter value in Name.
  4. Enter value in Minimum Password Length.
  5. Enter Value in Password Complexity Requirement.
  6. Click Save.

Administrators can also Set Up a Password Policy and Complexity Message in Community Hub.

Create Account Settings

Administrators can set the field set to dupe check organizations and individuals while account creation.

  1. From Community Hub Setup, click More | Community Hub Settings.
  2. Click New next to the "Create Account Settings".
  3. Enter value in Name.
  4. Enter value in Company Dupe Check Field Set.
  5. Enter Value in Individual Dupe Check Field Set.
  6. Click Save.

Community Settings - Default Instance

Administrators can do various customization settings in this section. The mandatory fields are listed below:

  • Name
  • AES Encryption Key
  • Add To Calendar Enabled
  • Always Allow Membership Renewal
  • Show Matches For Duplicate Accounts
  • Individual Duplicate Checking Enabled
  • Company Duplicate Checking Enabled
  • Find My Account Enabled
  • Page Title Format 
  • Social Sign On Enhanced Security Enabled 
  • Use Custom Metadata Nav Items
  • Use Custom Metadata Page Architecture

Using customization settings, the administrator can set the AES encryption key for encrypting data, enable adding registration order items to the calendar on the Order Summary page and Enable Membership Renewal at any time in Community Hub without an existing membership renewal notice. Also, they can enable or disable showing matched records for duplicate accounts and enable or disable find my account.

They can set the format for all HTML <title> tags in Community Hub and enable or disable Social Sign On Enhanced Security. They can also set whether or not to use custom metadata types for navigation menu item configuration and page architecture using check boxes. 

Field Mapping

Administrators can configure the field mapping in this section. The mandatory fields are listed below:

  • Name
  • Destination Field 
  • Destination Linking Field
  • Record Destination
  • Record Source
  • Source Field
  • Source Linking Field

Password Strength Meter Settings

Administrators can Customize Password Strength Meter in Community Hub. All fields in this section are mandatory to fill.

Theme Settings

Administrators can Enable a Theme. The Name field and enabled checkbox are mandatory. 

Community Settings - Default Instance

Administrators can set the domain to write cookies to and the value to write in cookie. See Enable Creation of Domain Level Cookies for more information. All fields in this section are mandatory to fill.

Item Display Settings

Administrators can Customize Community Hub to Show New Types of Order Items in Community Hub. Both fields in this section are mandatory to fill.

Google Analytics Tag Settings

You will need to have Lightning and My Domain enabled.

Administrators can manage the settings in this section.

  1. Get a Google Analytics ID.
  2. Add the Tracking ID to the Customizations Setting.
  3. Click on the Waffle menu on the upper left of the page.
  4. Search for and click on Community Hub Settings.
  5. From the Customizations Settings header, click on Edit next to the Customization entry.
  6. Verify that the global tracking ID UA-65742132-2 exists.
  7. Edit the Google Analytics Tracking ID field and append the ID that you copied to the text field.
  8. Make sure the Analytics IDs are separated with commas and that there are no spaces. Example: UA-1ke9345,UA-593034
  9. Click on Save.
