Create a Credit Card Issuer

Administrators can create credit card issuers to validate entered credit card numbers.

When creating a credit card issuer, ensure the credit card issuer is supported by your payment gateway. To learn more about your payment gateway, reference Update a Payment Gateway.

  1. In the tab bar, click
    App Launcher, or in Salesforce Classic, click
    Nimble AMS, Staff View, Button, and All Tabs.
  2. Click New Credit Card Issuer.
  3. In Credit Card Issuer Name, enter the name of the credit card issuer.

    If using Cardpointe as the payment gateway and Google Pay is enabled, ensure the credit card issuer type is given in the listed format or else members will run into an error while paying off from the Community Hub:

    AMEX, DISCOVER, INTERAC, JCB, MASTERCARD, VISA.

    If using BluePay as the payment gateway and hosted payment forms is enabled, make sure you give the credit card issuer type used. Possible values are:

    AMEX = American Express,
    MC = MasterCard,
    DISC = Discover,
    VISA = VISA,
    JCB = JCB,
    DCCB = Diner's Club or Carte Blanche,
    ENRT = EnRoute,
    BNKC = BankCard,
    SWTC = Switch,
    SOLO = Solo,
    DC = Diner's Club

    For example: VISA, MC, AMEX, DISC
