Edit a Custom Label


Administrators can update the custom labels which display text in Community Hub which they have created in the org or those included in packaged apps, like Nimble AMS. Custom Labels created in staging or other sandbox environments can be migrated via Change Set.

Custom Label in Your Org

  1. From Setup, click Create | Custom Labels.
  2. Click Edit next to the name of the custom label you want to update.
  3. Make the desired changes.
  4. Click Save.

Custom Label Included in a Packaged App, Like Nimble AMS

  1. Ensure custom label translation is enabled (external) with at least one language set up.

  2. From Setup, enter Custom Labels in the Quick Find box, then select Custom Labels.

  3. Click Edit next to the name of the custom label you want to update.
  4. In the Local Translations / Overrides section, click New Local Translations / Overrides.
  5. In Language, select the language you are using for the field label.
  6. In Translation Text enter the new text for the label.
  7. Click Save.
