End Affiliation Page

The End Affiliation page can be viewed by constituents removing their affiliation with a company and company managers removing their company's affiliation with an individual or company location. When removing an affiliation, constituents must choose from a list of reasons for removing the affiliation.

When individuals click Remove, they are taken to the My Affiliations page where a message displays letting them know the affiliation was removed. Alternatively, constituents can click Cancel to go to the My Affiliations page with no changes made.

When company managers click Remove, they are taken to the Company Roster page where a message displays letting them know the affiliation was removed. Alternatively, constituents can click Cancel to go to the Company Roster page with no changes made.

What's happening in the background is Removal Reason on the affiliation is set, which causes Status to be set to Inactive, Removal Date to the current date, and, if this was their primary affiliation, Primary Affiliation on their account is cleared as well.

Removal Reason must be included in the field set to remove an affiliation.

Administrators can add or remove removal reasons by adding additional values to the picklist (external) or collecting additional information by adding fields to the field set on the Remove Individual card.

Additionally, administrators can customize who can see and use this page with some point and click and some development effort.
