Create a Page
Administrators can create a basic Community Hub page using a template to control how it is laid out and Custom Labels to control what heading and description are shown on the page and set user access.
- In the Force.com App Menu, select Community Hub Setup.
- In the tab bar, click Pages.
- Click New Page.
- Enter the name of the page and the preferred URL
- In

, enter an easily recognizable term to identify the page. - In
Description
, enter a description of what the page does. In
Url
, enter "/"
then the URL you'd like to use. Example:/mynewpage
.The page URL can be deeper than one level, just remember that it must be 80 characters or less. Example:
/account/profilesnapshot/

Heading Label
, begin typing the Custom Label you'd like to use for the page heading and select it from the list of results or click New to create a new one.In
Description Label
, begin typing the Custom Label you'd like to use for the page description and select it from the list of results or click New to create a new one.Optionally, in
Template
, enter the name of the page template to be used for the page. When using a page template included in a package, enter the package prefix—/nc__
for a template in the Community Hub package or/prog__
for a template in the Programs package—followed by the name of the page template to be used for the page. If no page template is entered, the Accountdynamicpage template is used.Additionally, a custom page template can be created with development effort.
If you want to grant or revoke access to the page, in
Access Control
, select the access control which grants the access you want to use.Deactivated access controls cannot be selected. Edit an Access Control to activate it.
- Click Save.
