Send an Order Confirmation

Staff can send constituents an order confirmation by printing it, saving it as a PDF, or sending it as an email.

If the account in Bill To is an individual, they, and an optional additional email address, will be sent the order confirmation email. If the account in Bill To is a company, all individual accounts affiliated as children to the company, and an optional additional email address, will be sent the order confirmation email.

  1. From an order, click Order Confirmation.
  • To print the order confirmation or save it as a PDF, click Print (Ctrl+P).
  • To email the order confirmation to an individual account or all individual accounts affiliated as children to a company account:
    1. Optionally, in Additional Recipient, enter an additional email address to receive the confirmation email.
    2. Click Send Email.

To stop the order confirmation mail batch job from running, add an unpackaged NU Custom Metadata Tag as given in the steps below:

  1. From Setup, enter Custom Metadata Types in the Quick Find box, then select Custom Metadata Types.

  2. Click Manage Records next to Nimble AMS (NU) Tag.

  3. Click New to create a new record with the following information and leave the other fields blank:

    • Label: DisableAutomaticConfirmationScheduling

    • Tag Name: DisableAutomaticConfirmationScheduling

    • Select: Is Active

  4. Click Save.
