Feature Lifecycle

To help create and nimbly improve upon our major features, we move them through three stages: Pilot, Beta, and finally GA.

To see what features are in Pilot or Beta, go to Major Features or List of Pilot and Beta Features

Pilot Features

Pilot — New feature available to a limited set of customers who are closely monitored. Potential Pilot customers are identified early in the process. The purpose of a pilot feature is to gather feedback and data on product functionality, scalability, performance, and usability, which influences the direction, continued development, or roll out of the feature.  To request access to a Pilot Feature, simply submit a support case and tell us what feature you are interested in and why.

Beta Features

Beta — The term Beta is a safe harbor statement.  These new features have been thoroughly tested but may still require some improvements or bug refinement. We will do our best to communicate known limitations, so you can make an informed decision before enabling these features.

GA Features

GA (General Availability) — These features are ready for all customer production use and all functional, quality, and performance requirements are complete. Unless otherwise specified, Nimble AMS features are GA.
