Change Community Hub Email Templates

Community Hub has a welcome email template that is sent when users create a new Community Hub account. Administrators can change this behavior by setting a custom email template to be sent.

Change the Welcome Email Template Sent To Constituents

  1. In the tab bar, click 
     App Launcher.
  2. Search and select Community Hub Settings. 
  3. Go to Customization Settings custom setting.
  4. Click Edit next to customization in Customization Settings.
  5. In Welcome Email Template Name field, enter the name of an email template to send instead of the packaged welcome email template.
  6. Click Save. 

Change the Password Reset and Change Password Email Templates Content

  1. From Setup, enter All sites in the Quick Find box.
  2. Click Workspaces next to Community Hub. 
  3. Click Administration | Emails.

  4. Access the Community Hub Emails Folder, or folder containing your specific email templates.
  5. Click the label of the email template to access the body of the message
  6. Click the "Edit" button on the Detail Page
  7. Make any needed modifications
  8. Click Save.

Change the Community Hub Email Templates Sent To Constituents

  1. From Setup, enter All sites in the Quick Find box, then select All Communities.
  2. Click Workspaces next to Community Hub.
  3. Click Administration | Emails.

  4. If you want to use a custom email template for the email sent when a password is reset, in Forgot Password, enter the name of the email template, click 
    Add
    , and select the email template.
  5. If you want to use a custom email template for the email sent when a password is changed, in Change Password, enter the name of the email template, click 
    Add
    , and select the email template.
  6. Click Save.
