Change Community Hub Email Templates
Community Hub has a welcome email template that is sent when users create a new Community Hub account. Administrators can change this behavior by setting a custom email template to be sent.
Change the Welcome Email Template Sent To Constituents
- In the tab bar, click App Launcher.
- Search and select Community Hub Settings.
- Go to Customization Settings custom setting.
- Click Edit next to customization in Customization Settings.
- In
Welcome Email Template Name
field, enter the name of an email template to send instead of the packaged welcome email template. - Click Save.
Change the Password Reset and Change Password Email Templates Content
- From Setup, enter
All sites
in theQuick Find
box. - Click Workspaces next to Community Hub.
Click Administration | Emails.
- Access the Community Hub Emails Folder, or folder containing your specific email templates.
- Click the label of the email template to access the body of the message
- Click the "Edit" button on the Detail Page
- Make any needed modifications
- Click Save.
Change the Community Hub Email Templates Sent To Constituents
- From Setup, enter
All sites
in theQuick Find
box, then select All Communities. - Click Workspaces next to Community Hub.
Click Administration | Emails.
- If you want to use a custom email template for the email sent when a password is reset, in
Forgot Password
, enter the name of the email template, click , and select the email template. - If you want to use a custom email template for the email sent when a password is changed, in
Change Password
, enter the name of the email template, click , and select the email template. - Click Save.
