Stored Payment Method Sharing

Store Payment Method Sharing is only available for BluePay and CardPointe gateways.

Stored Payments allow constituents to save their payment details and use them in the future when checking out, reducing the friction of having to reenter their details. When using multiple Payment Gateways in Nimble AMS (for example, with multiple Entities) these stored payments are only usable on the gateway that they were saved with.

With Stored Payment Method Sharing, administrators can specify which Payment Gateways are allowed to share that saved payment data, allowing constituents to use those Saved Payments where ever they checkout, regardless of where it was originally saved.

For example, when a member makes a donation to the PAC Donation entity and saves their credit card to use later, with Stored Payment Method Sharing they will be able to use that credit card when purchasing a membership, event registration or other products from the store that's connected to the primary entity, with all the order transactions flowing through the primary entity, exactly the same as when the payment details are stored on the primary entities payment gateway.
