Constituents are brought to the Create New Company page when they click Create New Company on the Add Affiliation page. There are two different groups of people who would be using this page:
- Individuals wanting to affiliate themselves to their company, which they didn't find on the Add Affiliation page. On this page, they can create new company to which they are affiliated.
- Company managers wanting affiliate a company location to their company, which they didn't find on the Add Affiliation page. On this page, they can create new company which is associated to their company.
On the Create New Company page, constituents can enter information for the new company and affiliation.
When individuals creating their company click Submit, a new company account is created along with an affiliation which looks up to the company account and the individual's account. Additionally,
Is Company Manager,
Primary Contact and
Primary Affiliation are all selected on the affiliation so constituents can manage their newly created company.
When company managers creating a company location click Submit, a new company account is created along with an affiliation which looks up to the new company account and their company account. Additionally,
Primary Affiliation is selected on the affiliation so company mangers can manage the newly created company location.
After the page is submitted, constituents are taken to the Company Roster page where a message displays letting them know the affiliation was added.
